Download DishnetPC - 4 Ways to Avoid Common Mistakes When Downloading Satellite TV on PC Software

By now, you already know scams do exist over the Internet and if you researched any Satellite TV on PC software like DishnetPC, no doubt you've come across some complaints. But question is, are all of these products scamware and waste of time and money? Not really!

Here's why, if you keep researching you will find some video reviews that actually show software in action. Or, you will find a product review by an actual tester/user that provides all the pros and cons, including inside information that you generally don't find elsewhere.

If you stick with the top leading services that use 3rd party payment processors like Clickbank, Plimus and PayPal, rest assure you will receive a full refund (if requested) within the money back guarantee deadline.

Some people make the mistake, which is beyond me, to contact the software merchant instead of the payment processor where they sent their payments to.

When making your payment to join up with a Satellite TV on PC service, you immediately receive two or more emails. One comes from the payment processor to whom you made a payment to. This email will contain your order number including information and a link to look up the order. This is where you request a full refund.

As far as some of the complaints about these products such as, they don't work, channels don't play and all of them are scams, shouldn't be referenced as all of them. Granted, these products do have some downsides but common issues can be avoided and fixed in most cases.
4 Steps to Avoid Common Issue and Mistakes

1. Contact the Service First: Once you've found the software that interest you, contact the merchant/service. Don't buy yet! Simply email the service with your questions and wait to see whether or not they respond back. This will also serve as a way to test their response time and see if they are true to their promise.

If you don't receive an email back after three (3) days, then obviously you will want to avoid spending money on this service. If on the other hand you want to send a second email just in case the first one may not have gotten there, then its okay to do that but make sure you check your Spam/Junk folder first to see if the email from the payment processor is there.

You want to know if the service will follow up with you on an issue if it arises and answer questions when you have them.

2. Refund Requests: Again, you will want to make sure there's an iron clad, money back guarantee in tact. Make sure that Clickbank, Plimus or PayPal is being use by the 3rd party sales/refunds processor.

How to tell which processor is used by the software merchant/service? Just visit their website where the software is sold. Click the buy button that takes you to their order page. This is where you'll find the name PayPal and Clickbank or Plimus listed.

They are highly reputable retail processors that also have your back if there's a need to request a refund or there's a problem. Some people make the mistake to contact the software merchant directly and this is totally wrong!

For the minority who claim you don't get a refund, either they don't follow simple instructions or have an agenda of their own when posting scam reports online that you don't get your money back. Remember, complaints are post by a minority, not the majority. Some complaints are actually true and be justified while other are not.

Once you make your payment, you automatically receive emails, stated earlier, with your order number. Sometimes your Junk/Spam filter will intercept these emails so be sure to check there if you don't see any emails where you expect to find them.

3. Test Your Computer: The DishnetPC service like most other leading brands don't offer free trial software to test on your computer. So you need to test your computer to see if a software-to-computer incompatibility issue exists before making a payment.

Rarely does software (TV player) not work on a compatible computer after it's downloaded/installed, but it happens. There are freeware (TV players) out there that you can download to test on your Windows computers. In fact, there are a few Satellite TV on PC services that offer a free trial.

My suggestion is to download one or two of them to your computer. This is a test! Some people blame the software when it doesn't work or channels don't play when actually it's the computer that's causing the problem. So the best way to rule out your computer as the problem is to test your machine (for free) before purchasing the product you want.

You can check the picture/video quality to see whether or not channels play, and so on. But you also want to see if the software and your computer work well together. If that's the case and you are satisfied, then a top leading brand should work also.

What happens sometimes is a computer's software and/or hardware will block the Web TV player from working. This issue can be resolved in most cases when knowing what to do.

4. Research Further: Continue your research and try to avoid product reviews that don't offer a complete review. You want a review that includes a video review or complete review with pros and cons where an actual user/tester conducting the review. Keep in mind though, you won't always find a video review showing the software (TV player) in action.

Be sure to read every word on the merchant/service website, including the TOS (Terms of Services). Also check system requirements and remember your computer must have the appropriate free media software (TV player/plugins) in order for channels to work/play on your machine.

Don't worry; the merchant will include everything you need when you become a paid member. Your machine may already have these media players installed.

When following all the steps above, you have now avoided common issues and mistakes. Granted, these products don't live in a perfect world and that's where a good review will tell you all the pros and cons. In the end, this will help you make a well informed decision rather than taking the flip-a-coin approach to choosing a service like DishnetPC.
